REDACTED Activities will target recent graduates from statistics, public health and evaluation courses within Mozambique. Core interventions are centered on a strategic information fellowship program aimed at improving monitoring, evaluation, analysis and surveillance skills amongst recent Mozambican graduates.

The mechanism is designed to run for three years, producing a cadre of SI fellowship graduates which will be absorbed into the MOH system. Further fellowship programs are not foreseen after the end of this mechanism.

The monitoring and evaluation plan for this activity will include # fellows place, # fellows completing fellowship, placement of fellows post fellowship, etc. and will be reported quarterly.

Mechanism Target Information

Since COP2014, PEPFAR no longer produces narratives for every mechanism it funds. However, PEPFAR has now included performance targets or indicator information for each mechanism based on the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (MER) system. The MER guidance is available on PEPFAR's website https://www.pepfar.gov/reports/guidance/. Note that COP years 2014-2015 were under a previous version of the MER system and the indicators and definitions may have changed as of the new 2.0 guidance.

This mechanism has no published performance targets or indicators.
