The Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) recieved a competitive grant through World Learning to implement male circumcision services in Malawi. This activity will be carried forward in FY12 COP. Malawi has recentlyapproved its MC policy and now CHAM and other partners can implement MC services. With support from MCHIP, CHAM will undertake MC service delivery through CHAM facilities in one district in Southern Malawi. This work will be in addition to services provided through outreach campaigns by two other USAID parnters, BLM and PSI, in three additional districts in the South. CHAM will also support MC trainings for CHAM staff in the USAID districts in the South. CHAM will continue to use its one-year funding through this year; no additional funding can be allocated to this partner once the World Learning mechanism is over.
