This timeline shows both historic and projected funding by mechanism from 2007 through 2019. Mechanisms are roughly sorted from top to bottom by overall funding level. Changes in funding over the course of a mechanism are shown with darker colors representing years of higher funding and lighter color depicting years with lower funding. (Note: Our projections are based on an assumption of mechanisms lasting 5 years and are only projected if the mechanism continued to get funding in the most recent COP. These projections do not guarantee future funding as PEPFAR can modify mechanisms at any time. Additionally, mechanism numbers are known to have changed between different COP years – particularly 2009 and 2010 – such that all years of a single mechanism may not be appropriately linked in the database.)
